Who is responsible?
Voûte Digital Advertising B.V., Lange Nieuwstraat 191, 3111 AJ Schiedam (Chamber of Commerce number 24370167), is the controller for the data processed through visitwaalwijk.com. You can reach us through the contact form or via WhatsApp.
Which data do we process?
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address and message, and, if you fill them in, your company name, phone number, website and the subject or partner tier you choose.
- Waalwijk Moments: if you send in a photo, your name, e-mail address, photo and caption. We keep a waiting submission for 30 days at most, outside the public part of the server. If we approve it, we show only your name, the caption and the photo; your e-mail address is never shown. If we reject it, we delete the photo and send you one e-mail with the reason.
- Spam protection: to prevent misuse of the form, we store an encrypted (hashed and salted) value of your IP address and your e-mail address, together with the time of sending. We cannot work your IP address back out of that hash.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the form uses Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc. to keep bots out. To do so, Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and characteristics of your browser.
- Google Analytics 4: only if you consent in the cookie notice do we measure anonymously how visitors use the site.
- Server logs: our hosting provider Hostinger keeps technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to keep the site secure and available.
What do we use them for?
We use your form data only to answer your question and, if you become a partner, to set up your listing on VisitWaalwijk.com. The spam protection and the server logs serve the security of the site. We use analytics data to improve the site. We never sell your data to third parties.
On what legal basis?
For answering your message, the basis is your request itself and our legitimate interest in being able to reply. For spam protection, Turnstile and server logs, it is our legitimate interest in a secure website. For Google Analytics, it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep messages from the contact form no longer than needed to deal with your question, or for as long as your partner listing runs. The hashed values used for spam protection are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Who receives your data?
- Hostinger, as the hosting provider that manages the site and the mail server.
- Cloudflare, Inc. for Turnstile. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area; the safeguards Cloudflare itself describes in its privacy policy apply to this.
- Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics, only after your consent.

You may access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and you may object to the processing or have it restricted. Send your request through the contact form. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
